				The patient was a 48-year-old female with a history of gingival recession in the posterior quadrants of her mouth. The patient had allograft surgery previously performed by a different periodontist with no success.

				The patient was a 48-year-old female suffering from gingival recession on the majority of her upper arch and her lower anterior teeth. The patient was unhappy with the appearance of her smile due to the discolored roots showing.
Dr. Khansari was able to perform both soft tissue allograft surgery and connective tissue grafting surgery by harvesting from the patient’s palate under IV sedation.
