Meet Dr. Alireza Khansari DDS, MSD

Minimally Invasive Procedures

One of the unique aspects of our practice is Dr.Khansari’s philosophy to employ minimally invasive procedures for periodontal treatment. He truly believes that regeneration procedures have slowly become mainstream in periodontology.

Dr.Khansari is dedicated to using the latest surgical techniques including micro surgical procedures along with biological mediators that can accelerate healing and minimize post op discomfort.

Exceeding Your Expectations

When performing soft tissue regeneration or bone augmentation to save a periodontally comprised tooth or prepare the foundation for a dental implant, Dr. Khansari makes sure that he meets his own expectations and exceed yours.

It’s not in his nature to rush through work, nor is it in his nature to fall short of the demands of long surgeries. Dr. Khansari also remains meticulous over the precision and details of his work.

Dr. Khansari’s Publications and Affiliations

Dr.Khansari has residency training in periodontology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology – the highest academic achievement to be obtained in the specialty of periodontics.

Publications

Dr. Khansari has completed the research and didactic requirements for a Master of Medical Science Degree in Oral Biology.

In addition, his research on “Contribution of Interleukins on Bone Resorption” has been published in the journal of Infection and Immunity on July 2002, which is one the most prestigious magazines in oral immunology.

Hello my name is Paloma! I graduated from Mira costa college with an associate’s degree in Medical Office Professional and certified with medical insurance and coding. I was fortunate to get hired by Dr. Khansari during the pandemic thanks to my best friend Emma. Doctor Khansari and my coworkers have made working so enjoyable. I enjoy helping our patients get the best experience with doctor as soon as they call the office. In my free time I like to read and hangout with my family, boyfriend, and friends.

I have enjoyed dental insurance processing and billing for over 10 years, and have been in the accounting field most of my life. I truly love my job and our team. It is amazing to watch Dr. Khansari work his magic every day, creating healthy smiles for our patients.

My husband of 34 years and I are both San Diego natives. We have proudly raised our son and daughter in our hometown and are now looking forward to traveling and celebrating our “empty nest”. In my spare time I enjoy cooking for my family, gardening, cross fit and Pilates.
